Dear Family and Friends
Let’s look at the final 2 steps in a covenant: #9   Exchange of names,

#10  Eldest Son to live with Covenant partner.
WORD
“The Son of man…came to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many”. (Mt. 20:28)    “The disciples were first called ‘Christians’ in Antioch”. (Acts 1:26)
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us”. (John 1:14)
WISDOM
#9  Just as covenant partners became one, and exchanged names, so also our Covenant Partner, Jesus, took our name by calling Himself “the Son of man”, and we are privileged to use His name, being called Christians.

#10  To fulfill the final step in our covenant, the Father allowed His Son, Jesus, to live among us on planet Earth. Yes, GOD among MEN !!

And we, even while on earth, are privileged to be spiritually positioned “sitting together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph.2:6), in preparation for our final destiny of living with Him “with exceeding great joy” for all eternity.

WIT
A church sign read: “Plan ahead.  It wasn’t raining when Noah built the ark!”
WELLSPRING
“Enjoying Haiku Insight-Out”

Slowly setting sun,
Relays the baton of light
To city streetlamps.

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.
Students at CFN-Japan Bible School recognize that through the gift of faith, they have entered God’s Kingdom, and have a personal relationship with the Living God in Jesus Christ. Their cup of blessing overflows, and expresses itself by sharing the Good News of Jesus through their words and their lives.

Through a Christmas drama (photo at top) for neighborhood adults and children, or by regular monthly outreaches in the city (photo above), CFN-Japan students share about Jesus and God’s Kingdom with adults and children. The Holy Spirit reveals Jesus to the heart of each person seeking truth. When people accept Jesus, there’s great joy in heaven and on earth. Keep praying for CFNJ and for Japan.

Standing together with you looking to the Lord,

Charles and Dianne Gyurko
