One-Liner December 5, 2008 Minimize

Dear Family and Friends,
“Mmmmm,  this is good to hear!”
WORD
“He that has ears to hear, let him hear”.(Lk.8:8)  “I bring you good news of great joy, which shall be to all people”. (Lk. 2:10)

WISDOM
The very best thing that our ears can hear is the Word of God, because it enables us to understand the Good News of His love for us, as demonstrated in the life of Jesus Christ.  But hearing His Word becomes fruitful only by a heart-response of faith, which recognizes the truth of what is said, and of action, by which we “walk out” the truth in our daily lives. Some day we will see Him, and hear Him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord”. (Mt. 25:23)
WIT
When the lawyer got married, in response to the various questions asked, “Do you take this woman,… to have and to hold,… in sickness and in health, etc.…..”, he carefully answered the questions in order, “Yes, no, perhaps, and under certain conditions”.
WELLSPRING
“Enjoying Haiku Insight-Out”

Before I was born,
Stars hurled light into dark space,
And now reach my eye.

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

CFN-Japan Bible School is located near the city of Sapporo (Population 1.75 million),which  has a lengthy park along its Main street (Chuo-dori).  In Summer, many people meet and relax here, and in Winter, they view the Ice Festival.  But in all seasons, it is the scene where CFN-J Bible School students share the Good News of Jesus with people they meet.

Photos above show the park, with students witnessing to others while standing on the green grass amid the colors of Autumn.  Our eyes or the camera lens may not see it, but it is here that people are born again in the Spirit, as they receive the Life of Jesus into their hearts, and enter His Kingdom. Please join the CFN-Japan students in witnessing and in prayer that “…His Kingdom Come” to all people and nations.

Standing together with you looking to the Lord,

Charles and Dianne Gyurko
