Dear Family and Friends
WORD
Here we have no lasting city, but we seek the one to come”. (Heb.13:14) “But you have come to…the city of the Living God, the heavenly Jerusalem” (Heb.12:22)…the city which has foundations, whose Builder and Maker is God” (Heb.11:10)
WISDOM
Reality (truth) consists of both the seen (natural world), and the unseen (spiritual world).  Earthquakes, fires, hurricanes, floods, point to the fact that our visible world is temporary, but the Kingdom of God is indestructible. We will experience its fulfillment when we leave this earth, but we can enjoy the reality of His Kingdom right now, even as we walk down the street!

WIT
Seeing my balding head as I walked past his shop, the owner called out to me, “How about a hair-tattoo?”
WELLSPRING
“Enjoying Haiku Insight-Out”

Red barrel cactus,
Round desert fire hydrants,
Prickly oasis.

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

Since Japan is located on the Far Eastern edge of the continental shelf (below), earthquakes are common. The photos above show the quake of Kobe, Japan in 1995, in which 6,400 people were killed. It occurred 2 weeks before my (Charles’) scheduled visit to that area.

But natural destruction did not diminish the Kingdom of God in Japan, or the faith of Japanese Christians.  Believers there, and elsewhere, continue to recognize that God is Love, and that He continues to guide and provide for us in all situations.  Celebrating these Kingdom truths, CFN-Japan Bible School students join other believers in Sapporo (above) to praise our Lord and King in a March For Jesus.

Standing together with you looking to the Lord,

Charles and Dianne Gyurko
