Dear Family and Friends,
No words needed,…just silence and reflection.
WORD
“Having forgiven you all trespasses (sins),…He nailed it to the cross”. “He (Jesus) became sin for us”…“While we were yet sinners, He died for us". (Colos. 2:13-14,  II Cor. 5:21,  Rom. 5:8)
WISDOM
Sin” is a short word. We get used to saying it without reflecting on what it really is.       Sin is a personal act of man, that is in contrast with the character and will of the All-Holy God. It’s like bringing raw sewage into an operating room, filth in an antiseptic atmosphere! Unthinkable! Yet the Person affronted still has a love for the sinner, leaving the door open for our repentance.

Jesus showed God’s justice by taking upon Himself a punishment to His body, and a humiliation to His Spirit, reflecting the awfulness of man’s sinful offenses. He also showed God’s “Love”,…another short word.

WIT
When I first went to play golf, I thought it wise to take 2 pairs of trousers, because someone said that I might make a hole-in-one.

WELLSPRING

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

Christ For the Nations-Japan Bible School students and members from local churches carry the cross in a “March For Jesus” in the busy streets of Sapporo. Participants, on foot or in a wheel chair, are joyful, as they share this testimony of God’s love publicly.

Missionaries Mrs. Kate Sato (L) and Mrs. Connie Goodall (R) join Dianne and their Japanese brothers and sisters in marches that tell the never-ending story of God’s never-ending love for each person. Please continue to pray daily that the Bible School will fulfill its divine mission in Salvation History, of raising up competent, qualified leaders who point the way to Jesus by their lives and testimonies.

Standing together with you looking to the Lord,

Charles and Dianne Gyurko
