Dear Family and Friends,

”Would you like a ride…?
WORD
“An angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, ‘Go along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza’. At that time a man from Ethiopia…was sitting in his chariot, reading Isaiah the Prophet. He asked Philip to come up and sit with him. Then, beginning with that Scripture, Philip preached Jesus to him, …and the man said, ‘I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God’ He was baptized, and went on his way rejoicing.” (Acts 8:26-39)

WISDOM
Just as God was active in the lives of people in the Jerusalem and Gaza area in the past, so also is He active in the individual lives of Israelis and Palestinians there today. According to Jesus’ promise, those individuals who seek God will find Him (Mt.7:7). God can reveal Himself directly to them, or through others as He did through Philip. Our job, like Philip’s, is to be obedient vessels of the Lord, willing and capable of sharing Jesus with those whom God directs us to.
WIT
A cave-man, drawing on a wall, said, “I’m the 1st Artist!”. Other cave-men then commented, “Then I’m the 1st Art Critic…I’m the 1st Art Historian…I’m the 1st Art Collector.”
WELLSPRING
“Enjoying Haiku Insight-Out”

Pregnant summer clouds,
Nurturing yearning fields,
Sows its liquid seeds.

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

People from the China countryside creatively put together a modern horse-drawn “carriage” (above). Like Philip, students from CFN-Japan Bible School, on Overseas Outreaches, have shared the Lord Jesus with people in Mongolia, Malaysia, and in many other Asian countries, as well as in Spain, Mexico, the U.S.A., and, of course, in Japan also.

Shown above is a Scriptural drama,  performed by CFN-Japan students, portraying Jesus (note background).  On special occasions, adults and children from the neighborhood around the Bible School are invited to attend. Like Philip, let’s “FILL UP” our hearts with His Word and His love, as well as regular prayer that His work at CFN-Japan Bible School will fulfill His purposes, and impact others with His life.

Standing together with you looking to the Lord,
