Dear Family and Friends,

“The Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world”. (I John 4:14) “Our Savior Jesus Christ has abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel”, (II Tim. 1:10)

The name “Jesus” (from the Hebrew yeshua) means “He shall save”.  Although Jesus is also our Teacher, Healer, Defender, Sustainer, and many other things, He came primarily to fulfill our greatest need, to free us from the effects of sin which would eternally separate us from an all-holy God! We needed a SAVIOR, and that’s why He came. He saved us from the effects of sin by paying for it Himself (propitiation) through His death on the cross.

 

“Jesus” is not just a name on a page, but a real living PERSON, with whom we can have a personal relationship NOW. Take 5 minutes and sit quietly before Him Who sits on His throne in glory. You can talk if you want to, but be sure to receive His love.  He’s waiting…

A shy little girl told her daddy, “At parties in our home, I don’t know what to say to all the people”. Her father told her, “Just say what your mother says.”  So at the next party, the little girl shared boldly, “WHY do I have to cook for so many people?”

The reality of Who Jesus is, and what He has done for us, is evident at CFN-Japan Bible School. Sometimes it’s seen in a class on its knees (below) where the truths of His life were shared. At other times it’s during worship, to praise and thank Him.

 
                                                       

 

The uplifted hands of students (above) look like they’re holding up their hearts like an invisible cup, which the Lord is filling with His love, “The love of God is poured forth in our hearts through the Holy Spirit”,  and the 5 fingers on each hand (5-5) can remind us of that Scripture reference: (Romans 5:5). Please join with all at CFN-Japan, and ask the Lord of the Harvest to send many laborers into His harvest.
