WISDOM | The Gospel (from “good spiel”) is “Good News”. When accepted, it brings the peace and joy of walking with Christ in God’s righteousness and victory NOW in our daily life, and eternal joy with Him in heaven. Even when we face difficulties, Paul and Silas show us how to keep the Lord’s joy. When they were imprisoned for the Gospel, whipped, and had their feet fastened in stocks, “they sang hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening”. (Acts 16:25) |
A WORK of the Lord in Japan. The JOY of the LORD’s presence is recognized and felt at Christ For The Nations-Japan Bible School. Staff, teachers, and students all reflect that joy, not only in worship, but also in class time (above, at an extension campus), and even during “clean-up time”. Missionary Pastor Jerry Jantzen, shown above carrying his son, Joshua, during an all-church “March For Jesus” some years ago, is among the teachers who share the Word with competence, and with the JOY of the Lord during classes at CFN-J. Jerry and his wife, Makiko-san, have pastored a growing church in Sapporo City for many years. Standing together with you looking to the Lord, Charles and Dianne Gyurko |
