Dear Family and Friends,
WORD
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” (Rom. 12:2)
WISDOM
To save space in shipping and storage, Japanese farmers produce “square” watermelons, by putting growing melons in a box, to which they conform. In the same way, the “world” tries to conform us to its ways (pride, self, pleasure, sin, etc.), and make us live inside its limiting box without God. But by a renewed mind and heart in Christ, we are free to become transformed into that new person which the Lord has created us to be, with joy, freedom in Christ, fulfillment, and eternal life!
WIT
It’s time for us to examine ourselves, to see if our minds are like concrete: thoroughly mixed up and firmly set!
WELLSPRING

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

In front of a CFN-Japan Bible School building there is a yellow fire hydrant.  Water can put out natural fires, but nothing can stop the “fire of the Holy Spirit” which is present at CFN-Japan, and can be seen in the intensity of praise and worship, as well as the burning zeal to share the Good News of Jesus.

Jesus said, “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish that it were already kindled.” (Luke 12:49) Just as natural fire can destroy buildings or purify gold, so also the fire of God can destroy the works of the enemy, Satan, and also purify the hearts of believers. Join in prayer with all at CFN-Japan, as together we receive the fire-power of the Holy Spirit, and impact the world by reflecting the image of Christ in all that we say and do.

Standing together with you looking to the Lord,

Charles and Dianne Gyurko
