Dear Family and Friends,

It’s good to connect with you again, after a couple of weeks.

WORD
“…Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare engages himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier”. (II Tim. 2:3-4)

WISDOM
Through faith we become soldiersof Jesus Christ.  The weapons we use are His Name, His Blood, and His Word, which are “mighty in God to the pulling down of strongholds” ( II Cor. 10:4), and enable us to walk in His continuing victory over the enemy, Satan. These events may not appear in newspapers or TV, but they are recorded where it really counts, in The Book of Life.

WIT
A WANT AD in the newspaper:
“Man wanted to work in a dynamite factory. Must be willing to travel.”
WELLSPRING
“Enjoying Haiku Insight-Out”

Temporary shade,
Workmen eat lunch under trees
That they’re cutting down.

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

Adam McCain, present Director at Christ For The Nations (Dallas), will be coming again to CFN-Japan Bible School, together with his team, to teach students for a week, and then lead a YOUTH FOR THE NATIONS weekend rally, called “Adam’s Boot Camp” (photo above), at CFNJ, for 150 young people, June  6 to 8.

Adam’s ministry, called Global Youth Net, touches young people from all over the world. The photo above shows part of the crowd last year at CFNJ. This year will include many from Okinawa, Japan’s Southernmost island. As soldiers of Christ, let’s pray, that this is the fulfillment of Cindy Jacob’s prophecy that “revival will come in Japan like bookends coming together, from the North (Hokkaido) and from the South (Okinawa)”!

Standing together with you looking to the Lord,

Charles and Dianne Gyurko
