Dear Family and Friends
“These (followers of Christ) have turned the world upside down…They are acting contrary to the laws of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus.”  (Acts 17:6-7)
Although there are billions of people from many nations on planet Earth, there are only 2 Kingdoms: God’s Kingdom, and Satan’s Kingdom. When the people in God’s Kingdom share His message of light, life, truth and love, people in Satan’s Kingdom correctly see this as opposed to their world of darkness, death, error, and hate, and so claim that Christians are “turning their world upside down”. But what Christians are actually doing is turning the world right side up, so people can see reality as it is, with God in the center.
It’s like the 2 pictures above, they look different, but are actually the SAME PICTURE, seen from opposite directions: #1 is upside down, #2 is right side up, showing the change that God can make in a person’s spirit, soul, and body, when His world is viewed properly, right side up in truth.
A wife kept telling her husband, “If it weren’t for my money, this house wouldn’t be here… If it weren’t for my money, this car wouldn’t be here…” After a while her husband said, “I don’t want to hurt your feelings, Honey, but if it weren’t for your money, I wouldn’t be here.”

So wanting to be complete,

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.
The traditional Shintoist view says that Japan was formed by a “sun-god”, and that the Emperor, as a descendent of that god, has authority to offer the 1st fruits of the nation to the sun-deity.  Through peaceful demonstrations for God’s truth, Christ For The Nations-Japan Bible School, together with believers from the local churches, bring to society and to the streets of Sapporo (below), a viewpoint about life which is DIFFERENT from Shintoist tradition. These “marches for truth” have made an impact.
But the mightiest weapon against the errors of the enemy, is the UNITED PRAYER of the faithful. Just as Joshua commanded the sun to “stand still” (Joshua 10:12-13) in order to complete a victory, so also we can command the evil spirits behind the “sun-god” of Shinto to “be bound in the Name of Jesus”. By doing this, we, like the early Church believers, can “turn the world rightside up”, and assist our generation to recognize and enjoy the truth of God’s Word. Let’s unite in prayer with our Japanese brothers and sisters on the 1st of each month to elevate Jesus in Japan.(Please mark your calendars.)
Standing together with you looking to the Lord,
Charles and Dianne Gyurko
