Dear Family and Friends, |
WORD | “Come unto Me, all you who labor and are heavy burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Mt. 11:28) |
WISDOM | Man’s outer physical burdens may look big, but they are small, compared to the inner spiritual and emotional burdens that he may face, such as un-forgiven sin, feelings of inferiority, lack of significance, rejection by others or by self, etc. But all these can be solved by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through faith, which recognizes the reality that we ARE forgiven, we ARE significant, we ARE loved! We don’t have to “search” for these! Being freed of burdens inside, we are able to handle outside burdens much more easily. “I can do all things through Him Who strengthens me .” (Phil.4:13) |
WIT | You KNOW it’s going to be a BAD DAY when: You wake up face-down on the pavement; You call Suicide Prevention, and you’re put “on hold”; Your birthday cake collapses from the weight of the candles. |
WELLSPRING | “Enjoying Haiku Insight-Out” Airport journey’s end, With so much to ask and share, Wordless hugs and tears. | Unpublished Work Copyright © 2008 by Charles Gyurko | |
