Dear Family and Friends
WORD
“Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.” (Mk. 15:37-38)  “Having boldness to enter the Holiest…by a new and living way…through the veil, that is, His flesh,…let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith.” (Heb.10:19-22)
WISDOM
The thick curtain (veil) in the Temple (shown above) represented the wall of inapproachability between an all-holy God and sinful man. But at the moment Jesus died in payment for our sins, the veil was torn open “from top to bottom”, to show that it was opened by God from above, and that man can now approach a holy God, through faith in Jesus and His sacrifice (torn flesh), as shown in the torn veil.

With such love for us, and such an invitation, who would choose not to come!
WIT
Why is it that we never have enough time to do a job just right, but always have time to fix it up later?

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

“The Tabernacle” was a course taught at Christ For The Nations-Japan Bible School by Pastor Mitsuru Matsubara, from a local Foursquare Church in Sapporo. He is shown below, at right, with a replica of the golden Ark of the Covenant, which was located behind the veil. His class revealed God in many ways.

The Bible School shares the riches of God’s Word with students of all ages, who are like “springboards” taking God’s Living Word to others in Japan and to other countries of the world. The open veil of His grace is a reality in which we all participate. Please pray for continuing growth in Students, Teachers, and Staff.

Entering His Presence with you, cleansed by Jesus’ Blood,
