One-Liner November 2, 2007

Dear Family and Friends,

Greetings once again. Could we enjoy another One-Liner together?
WORD
“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God…” (Rom.11:33)
WISDOM
Just as a man cannot quench his thirst by drinking from an empty cup, so also he must go to God’s Word regularly to fill his spirit with truth, which brings understanding, life, and peace. God’s Word is a deep well from which we draw living water, enabling us to grow in His likeness, as we seek His Face. Though we know Him, there’s always more.
WIT
An advertisement for a restaurant said: “Have a real AMERICAN Breakfast:
French Toast, Russian Rye, Canadian Bacon, Swiss Cheese, and Brazilian coffee”.
WHOLE IN ONE
“Enjoying Haiku Insight-Out”

Inside each person,
An expanding universe,
The powers of growth.

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

Do you know what the word “COOL” means? It means “Christ Over Our Lives”.   Now that’s C-O-O-L !
At Christ For The Nations-Japan Bible School, being “cool” is shown in many different ways. One way is sitting at Jesus’ feet and studying His Word (photo above of classroom scene). Another way is caring for, and teaching the children of students who are studying (photo below in 1985).

Shown here is Mrs. Kiyoko Tanaka, whose husband, Hiroshi-san, pastors in Sapporo, teaches at CFN-Japan, and whose 5 children all serve the Lord. One of their sons, Michiya-san, shown in the 1985 photo, is now studying at the main school, CFN in Dallas, Texas, of which CFN-Japan is an Official Affiliated School.

Together with you, with Christ Over Our Lives
