| A WORK of the Lord in Japan. Overseas mission outreaches are a standard part of leadership training at CFN-Japan. In 1993 Charles & Dianne “hitched” a ride on a small fishing boat (photo above) to go 25 miles from Japan’s Northernmost point to the Russian island of Sakhalin to prepare the way for CFN-Japan students who would soon follow. They went with Finnish missionary in Japan, Reijo Bloomendahl (photo), who had a carload of humanitarian aid materials. Students followed by regular passenger ship and ministered the life and love of Jesus to people everywhere (photo above). This year CFN-Japan students went to Korea in May ‘07, and to the Philippines in Nov. ‘07. Together with you saying SLAVA BOGO (“Praise the Lord” in Russian), Charles and Dianne Gyurko |
