Dear Family and Friends,

Here’s how your feet can beat an Olympic runner!
WORD
“How shall they call on Him whom they have not believed? How shall they believe in Him of whom they have never heard? How shall they hear without a preacher? How shall they preach, unless they be sent”?  (Rom 10:14)
WISDOM
Philippine people from an outlying district (photo above), eagerly listen to the Gospel of Jesus in their own language on a hand-wind tape recorder. Their resulting faith is the fruit of the 5-step process, shown in the Scripture above: “sent...preach...hear... believe …call on”. Each of us is called to be part of this process wherever we live. One person put a Gospel tract by his shoes, so that every morning he would be reminded to “have his feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace”. (Eph.6:15)

WIT
TACT is the ability to tell a person he’s “open-minded” when he has a hole in his head.

WELLSPRING
“Enjoying Haiku Insight-Out”

Morning mountain climb,
Sparked into life by my voice,
Steep hills echo back.

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

To learn about ministry and leadership, Jurine Tolentino (photo below) came from the Philippines to CFN-Japan as a Volunteer Worker. After returning home, he founded Gospel Recordings Philippines, Inc., in a nation of 90 million people, 7,107 islands, and 210 languages. “Our mission is to help, and be a depot of resources for the Church to evangelize the least, the last, and the lost people groups”, says Jurine.

On one of its regular Overseas Outreaches, Students and Staff of CFN-Japan Bible School shared the Gospel in the Philippines at markets during the day (photo above) and at outdoor meetings in the evenings, fulfilling the Word, “how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, (the Gospel of peace), and the glad tidings of good things”. (Is. 52:7, Rom.10:14)  Please continue to pray that CFN-Japan fulfill its God-given role.

Standing together with you looking to the Lord,
